Can anyone tell me definitively whether or not the SQ's PS lenses will mount on and work on the GS-1? I ask because I own PS lenses and see the GS-1 selling for reasonable prices on Ebay. Thanks!

The lenses for the SQ will definitely not mount on the GS-1, and vice versa. The flange to film distances are the same and the bayonet diameters are the same or close, but: the bayonet flanges are different, and the mechanical linkage for the shutter cocking is very different, so there's not a way it could be made to work.

Don't the GS-1 use PG lenses ?

Yes, it uses the PG lenses, but I think I saw a reference once to someone using a PS lens on the GS-1. Maybe just wishful thinking. Thanks for responding!

Thanks, reddesert. I can stop thinking about it!
