I've been trying to find the correct strap lugs for a (apparently) late production S2A. I've tried the old silver button type and a newer black slide lock type (that supposedly also fits the ETR series) but they are too small to fit the posts. Does anyone have a definite answer as to which strap lugs fit the late bodies?

Side note - anyone need strap lugs for an early S2 or S? I have some .

Thanks

I can use some. My S2 is without straps since I bought it. Might need a chain link to carry around though as the thing weights a ton.

You have the "mushroom" style strap lugs presumably. Measure the diameter of the narrow part of the post. Some cameras use strap ends that fit over a 4mm shank, and some fit a narrower shank closer to 3mm.

4mm: Bronica S2 and EC, Mamiya 645 original series, Fuji G690, Pentax 6x7 (*)
3mm: Hasselblad (*), Bronica ETR (*), Kiev (*)

Ones marked with (*) I didn't measure personally, but got the information from an Optech strap website. Anyway, this suggests that the ETR strap should not fit an S2.

Concerning the Etrs(i) cameras , those S type fittings don't work . The Etrs have a peg that's flattened on 2 sides and has a hole through
these flattened sides . Peter
I have 2 Bronica S (S2A ? ) strap ends . Pm me if interested

The late S2A uses same type strap lugs as the EC/EC-TL. Alternative you can use Op Tech type A strap lugs.

I ended up getting some Op Tech type B strap ends with the 4.11mm opening. They fit well but are nowhere near as attractive as the old silver button type.. I'm going to cut them off the little strap ends and hopefully, they will fit the leather strap that I'd like to get. At $10.75 on Amazon, they're a heck of a lot cheaper than ordering something from China that takes 3 weeks to arrive and costs me $30 in shipping.
