Bronica S2 shutter curtain?

Does anyone know if parts are available for Bronica S2s (aside from buying broken parts cameras?) I don't know the terminology, but the ribbon on one side of my shutter curtain frayed and broke. I'm well aware that I probably won't be able to take an S2 apart and actually get back together again, but what else am I going to do, turn it into a lamp? I'd rather go down fighting.

Micro Tools Dead Link Removed has some shutter curtain material.
If you can access both ends of the torn piece you may be able to repair it without disassembly.

I assumed it wouldn't be worth fixing. Besides, last I heard nobody was even fixing these. Someone even has a post asking where he can get one fixed and nobody knew of anyone.

Haha yeah, I've seen photos of how crazy they are inside. There's always a chance I could get lucky and not have to tear too far just to it. I didn't think patching and gluing the ends of the curtain strips would hold, I wonder if I can fish the ends back to the back.

You could call or email Michael Zack at Zack's Camera Repair (an APUG advertiser in Providence, RI). And give Frank Marshman a call too. Maybe one of them would be willing to tackle it.

It might be possible to glue a strip of shutter cloth over the torn section. The strip will have to cover the full length of the tear, 1/2 inch either side of the tear with the extra thickness being the only concern.
Use contact cement to glue the sections applying to one surface only and attaching the sections while the glue is wet.
