I bought a Bronica EC kit earlier with year, it included the complete set of tubes. Tried them on the 50mm 3.5 lens this weekend. Never could get a clear focus on anything, in fact could never see anything. The 50mm lens looks and works fine, the tubes contain no glass My only experience is with 35mm with bellows and enlarger lens.

So what am I missing?

Set lens to widest aperture. With ext. tubes the lens auto open aperture feature isn't operative.

Ya gotta remember, the front element will almost touch the subject. Especially with a WA.

I think I tried all settings but will revisit. Thank you for info.

Hmm I think you may have solved my problem, do not remember trying up that close. Thanks so much. Will give it another go tomorrow.

By the way I like your signature, have something very close to that on my hat for my VA appointments
