Howdy all,

It looks like I have a bit of an issue with a 150mm PS lens I bought not that long ago. It appears that when using it on my SQAi with a flash, it won't fire the flash (the shutter still works). This is both through the SCA port and the PC Sync port. I have tried the camera/Flash combo with my 80mm lens and all seems OK.

Has anyone else had a similar issue? Would it be fair to say that the electronics are fried? Or could it be something simple?

Cheers

Hey there,

I would recommend emory board or very fine sand paper (wet 1000-2000) for cleaning. You might try wetting the connection (plug to lens PC) and see if that works. I always used spit and it did the trick 40 yrs ago and still should!

FYI there's no separate synch connection on Bronica PS lenses. That his other lens triggers the body's synch terminals suggests it's probably the 150's fault.

Microtools for the drivers. Look at other tools too. You can't buy just one.
Australia? I think they ship international. $$$ The blades and handles are separate. that would save a little.2 & 2.5mm are what I use most often.
If they won't ship, I can trans ship for you.

I'm almost positive those contacts are gold-plated, so I would not recommend anything abrasive.
