Has somebody ever worked with the Broncolor FCM lightmeter ,connected with the Broncolor FCM probe in a Sinar 4x5 meterback ?
I have problems in measuring shadows.

To clarify my question further :
The display shows

"UNDER"

when measuring medium shadow parts.
IMO these shadow is light enough to be measured without problems. But the FCM lightmeter/FCM probe combination can't measure it!
(Aperture is open ,ASA is set correctly,Lenscap is taken down etc)

FCM lightmeter used without probe works fine.I compared it with my Gossen Lightmeter and it shows not more than 1/10 difference in various situations.

I would be happy if someone could give me advice.

As I posted this question in two other forums, here the answer I got there:

The FCM probe is designed for use with flashlight.

With availible light the sensitivity is not enough and
it is than probably better to use a regular lightmeter,or maybe a spotmeter.

Yes - that's what I would have said - pump up the light... the probe has the disadvantage of having to work in incredibly dim post-aperture light...
