I'm trying Moersch Eco 4812 with this paper vs my usual Ethol LPD or PQ. I find I can under and over development. I can change the paper tone slightly. The next day I can't easily print with the prevous nights solution as I hoped. The exposure will be off or a slight contrast change occurs. Since I'm trying to make a fine print and repeat it the next day I mix fresh dev each DR session. I don't want to take time to recalibrate the print. Not reusing the print developer makes ECO 4812 expensive to use.
I ordered Bromophen as I'm running out of ECO 4812. I've never used this developer. Bromophen is advertised as slightly warm which is what I prefer with Galerie.
Any comments or tips about Bromophen and Galerie? I assume Galerie will be just as flexible in Bromophen as ECO. Can I adjust the contrast by diluting Bromophen.....something you can do with ECO 4812?
