Can a 'jack Press' be used for transfers or is a real etching press the only thing that will work?

The term "Jack Press" is new to me. If it's what I think it is: equal flat pressure from above, it's not going to be enough pressure at any given point. An eching press with a roller provides more pin-point pressure as the bromoil matrix and receptor paper moves under the roller. So, if a Jack Press is as I described, it wouldn't work for transfer. Hope this helps!
