BROMOIL - Anywhere to buy potassium dichromate in London?

I want to try to make my Bromoil prints.

For the bleach I need copper sulphate, potassium bromide and potassium dichromate.

I Norway it’s hard to find raw chemicals at all, and while visiting London next weekend I had hoped to by what I need.

I find copper sulphate and potassium bromide in the price list from Process Supplies, but can’t find potassium dichromate either from Process Supplies or from Silverprint.Potassium dichromate is toxic and perhaps that is the reason for why it’s so hard to find?

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Potassium Dichromate was withdrawn from sale at Silverprint at the beginning of the year. You *might* get some by visiting the store in person, but don't get your hopes up.

I ended up purchasing from a specialist chemical supplier, but had to order 500g as that was the smallest quantity they were prepared to sell.

Potassium Dichromate is listed as a toxic/hazardous oxidising chemical which means that, due to Royal Mail restrictions, I can not post the stuff. It is also unlikely that anyone would be allowed to board a plane whilst in possession of even a small quantity.

I will join the cours "Portrettfotografering" the first week in juli

(Har meldt meg på og fått melding om at det er plass på kurset. Jeg har kommet godt i gang med arbeidet med den flytende emulsionen og hadde tenkt å forsøke meg litt med Bromoil før kurset. Hadde håpet det ville være enklere å få kjøpt slike kjemikalier når jeg først var i London. Noe av det vanskeligste med mørkeromsarbeid i Norge, er å få tak i forskjellige kjemikalier)
