For Sale Broinca SQ-Ai set with 4 lens

Hi all,

I am selling my beloved bronica SQ system with 4 lens, 4 backs, grip, 45D finder, and hood. Each lens and body has cap for its own. Prefer to sell as a set for now.

Set consists of following lens:
S 50/3.5
S 105/3.5
PS 150/3.5
S 200/4

As far as I call tell, things work as it should*. I put 2 rolls through last month. Lens are clean and clear without issue (please expect minor dust). Selling because I kinda prefer TLR after a year with TLR cameras now for the compactness.

Asking for $675.00. Pricing to sell.

*Disclaimer: My backs should be lilght tight as I checked with smartphone LED by shining light from the slot opening. In use I normally randomly pick two and haven't run into problem yet. I shined light through lens, clean and clear. However shutter are not machine tested.

Yeah, this is a very nice system. I am not completely sure (80% right now) I want to part way with it but I do need room for my 6th TLR.

I have too many cameras. I have newer Hasselblads and SQ-AI in 6x6 . There's a definite elegance to Hasselblad. Nothing feels the same. Having said that I grab the Bronica more often than not. I love them. With the winder or the very affordable motor drive for this camera, it's a great setup . The 45 degree prism you have has an adjustable diopter ,very nice. For 300 bucks you can get a used AE finder that has spot or average metering, aperture priority auto exposure. The lenses are outstanding. All the Bronica bodies have the lens timing unit in the body itself, lenses are consistent in timing . These were the workhorse of wedding photographers. I just bought a newer A12 back for my Hasselblad 503cw, paid a little over 400 bucks. For 1 back. If you are looking for an outstanding system camera with really affordable high quality lenses this is a great setup. I have the PS version lenses, but the S series lenses are very well made. Square Fujichrome slides projected, awesome. Only thing I would suggest is picking up a 80mm 2.8 PS, awesome lens.

Thank you for sharing thoughts. I am actually looking to upgrade to a hasselblad 503cw or 501cm with 50 FLE and 100 CF. Accessories are indeed expensive that I have been waiting for good deals to come up for quite some time.

One thing that blows me away with the Hasselblads are the Acute-Matte screens, holy cow they are bright. My 501cm has the straight matte, 503cw has the grid with the spilt image. With a 45 degree prism, 50mm with the floating element it's a religious experience. I'm going to Yellowstone and the Tetons in the fall. I'm taking the 501cm 50 and 80 for Fujichrome , 6x9 Fuji rangefinders for Black and white , and my beautiful old Fujica 617 with Acros and contrast filters .fun fun. I've always used a hand held incident meter. Good luck with your projects.

Thanks. If I am lucky I will have a near mint 501cm in two weeks.
