fixed.First time I hear of that magazine, already at first glance I found some interesting articles.
However you erroneously sorted this thread under "Hybrid". But there is not even a hint at a hybrid workflow in those articles. Not surprising with them being from the 90s...
Great stuff I had never seen before (being in the US).

Handy, even though I have almost every issue listed there to hand.
Mick.
You can use the way back machine and have a look at snapshots of sites in the late 90s, early 2000. I did it in the past and felt depressed.Prices of film and accessories from back then would be interesting.
I came across an archive for 'PHOTON' magazine this evening, which seems to feature a broad range of content from the mid-90s, including contributions from Les McClean.

I bought a couple of 1955 editions of Amateur Photographer at an antiques fair a couple of years ago and the prices of everything photographic advertised in those magazines in relation to 1955 wages were all eye-wateringly expensive . Yes there was a short period in my experience from the late 2000s and maybe extending into the present day when film and paper became more expensive but this may not have been true of cameras. However by and large analogue photography in relation to wages has never been so cheap on a broader timescaleI looked up the average wages and prices for when my Medalist was made.
In 1946, 1 house = ~85 Kodak Medalists.
Mark, I've just recently acquired a binder filled with this magazine. Two are from 1985, the rest fall between 1991 and 1994.Now if only we had a web archive of Darkroom & creative camera technique! I lost all my old issues in a divorce.
