Hi all,

I bought a Fuji G617 a few months ago (and have shared some earlier images) but I had 8 rolls of film developed and recently purchased a scanner so can share some more images.

The first one was from an adventure in early October to photograph some jacaranda tree's in Brisbane, Australia. We started at The University of Queensland and ended up at Wilson's Outlook. Here is one from Wilson's.

Shot on a Fuji G617, Velvia 50, f32, 0.5secs with a Hoya HD circular polariser

Thanks for looking.

C&C Welcome! (and any help on scanning.....)

I do recall these nice smelling purple leaved trees from my 4 years living in Brissie. Damn the leaves are slippery after they drop onto the footpath though!
Nice shot of what I recall as the Storey Bridge.

Nice photo taken with an even nicer camera. A lot of people, including many Australians, think the jacaranda is an Australian native because they seem to grow nearly everywhere but they actually originate from South America. If you ever fly into Brisbane around this time of year and your plane approaches over the city, jacarandas can be seen on streets, in backyards and in parks in their thousands. OzJohn
