Again another stunning LF format video! Thank you!

In the beginning as you walk on the path, it is fun to watch the gravel pop into focus.

I could follow your exposure setting much better this time.

A third of a stop extra in speed for Xtol seems quite a lot but useful to know.

In terms of my safety with that noise, no people and a hood over my head I'd have been worried about a big Grizzly behind some bushes saying to the wife "Tell the kids that breakfast will be ready soon"😁

Thanks, Sirius Glass! It's a good thing I'm keeping fit, otherwise I wouldn't have made it up to the falls. I'm going to go back in late Summer. Shouldn't be so much water, then. I was soaked!

No grizzlies around here that I'm aware of, but plenty of black bears!

Which probably means you are safe unless you happen to have a couple of honey glazed doughnuts in your pockets or camera bags. 😉
Bears can be very curious animals. I wonder what they think if they come across Andrew out in the woods?

Here are three of Andrew's neighbours:

Great video. Looks like you have quite a well stocked backpack! 😊

Yup! Even the extra pouches on the outside had lenses in them! They usually hold an apple fritter, or two, but I didn't want a visit from Yogi... 😄

Great stuff Andy. I don't know how you keep all of these different processes in your head.

Funny you should say that! Sometimes I have so much going on at once, I get set up for one process, but I should have set of for another...it's even when I'm filming. Sometimes I have 4 or 5 different videos on the go and make a kallitype, when I should have made a gum over cyanotype... I should slow down, but I'm just having too much fun!

He climbed onto a black bear's shoulders and jumped over the boundary fence😄

He even offered to carry my gear, but only if I gave him my Apple Fritter. Go on, I said!

😄 Similar in the sense that both can only be safely taken with a minimum of a 600mm lens. A great picture, chuckroast

Believe it or not, I shot that years ago with a Sony DSC-F505 which had nowhere near that kind of lens on it. I lived on Kodiak for many years and a family friend ran tourist bear watching trips to a salmon weir. When they offered me a free ride on the DeHavilland float plane, I jumped at it.

This bear walked down the hill a few hundred feet away, opened his mouth to show us his teeth to let us know it was HIS house. Then, he sat down and ignored us. He is probably a "little" 3 year old or so - around 900 lb, I'd guess. The really big Kodiaks are shy and stay away from people.

(Please note that I've never done post corrections on these. I probably should.)

P.S. I'd never get anywhere near that close to a mod ...
