On November 8th, 2008 I have a solo show opening at the AfterImage Gallery in Dallas, the show runs through January 13, 2009.

At this point I can not be certain if I will attend the opening but I am leaning towards doing so. If I do attend I hope to see some of you there. Thanks.

Still on? What time?

There is nothing about this on either your website or AfterImage's.

Hi David, the show opens this Saturday, November 8th. The official opening is 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm although I should get there earlier, probably more like 4 or 5 pm. Do you think you and some of the Texas APUGgers will make it?

The show should appear on the AfterImage web site tomorrow.

Bruce, thanks.

I often go to the AfterImage site because I really like the photographers they represent, and it's always good to see what new stuff you've got in the gallery, so it'll be great to see your newest work.

Congratulations, Brian, and may the show be a huge success. (Oh, and by the way, If Jayne* were preparing the goodies for the opening, it'd almost be worth the trip just to have at them! :D )

*I apologize if I've misspelled her name once again...the more gray I have in my hair, the less gray matter is below the skull it seems.

I'm planning on going to the opening, but due to a recent back injury everything is up in the air for me right now.

I will not miss the show but unfortunately I can not make the opening, another commitment out of town. Look forward to seeing some of your new stuff.

Jeremy, Robert, if I don't get to meet you at the opening, I hope you get to see and hopefully enjoy the show.

Hi Brian, very best wishes for the show. It's not a small disappointment to me that the distances will not allow me to see some of your vision finalised on the wall.

Brian,

sorry to have missed your opening but I hope Ben passed on my congrats. I am sure the work looks terrific. I broke my ankle stepping off the curb near a restaurant about 10 days prior to your opening at the Afterimage. I had 2 screws put in the ankle the week of your opening. Just now am I feeling ambulatory enough to sit at the computer for any length of time. I am on the shelf until the year 2009. Again congrats on the show as Ben and David always do such a good job with their shows.

Thanks Lee. Sorry to hear about the ankle, some people will do anything not to see my work! I hope you have a speedy recovery. Being grounded until the new year does not sound like much fun. Well if you're up to it in 2009 the show runs until Jan 13th. Hopefully you'll be able to run around by then.

Congratulations on the show, Brian! I'm a little far from the site to visit, but I hope it's a roaring success for you! I always admire your work in the galleries and have, for some time, wanted to see your prints in real life.

Brian, I just got back from the gallery and the show looks Great! The prints are superb. I was looking for a new print from your trip to Alaska? Well it was nice to see your new stuff in person, gives me some inspiration to get out and shoot. Thanks

Robert thanks for checking out the show and for the encouraging words. Ben said you committed to buying 12 prints. (just kidding).

I didn't shoot as much in Alaska as I had hoped but I may have some new images from there showing up in a few months. I still have a huge backlog from trips going back as far as 3 years ago.

I'm glad you feel inspired to go out and shoot, I get that way after seeing shows too. It's kind of like ,"hey, I could have done that!" (more kidding). Anyway again thanks for taking the time.
