An exhibition of Brett Weston's work has opened at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. It includes his work done in Mexico as a teenager, plus a representative selection from the 1930's to the 1980's.
Highly recommended for those who have an opportuinity to be in the area. The exhibition runs through August 16, 2009.
I had the opportunity to view this exhibition on the weekend. In fact, I went four times in three days. Those interested in viewing exceptional silver gelatin prints, combined with amazing vision, will be rewarded by a visit. In a word, stunning.

Trevor, the original plan was to have the exhibit travel abroad. I am only aware of its next destination which is NH, US. It would be terrific to see the exhibit in the UK; I know that would please Brett, he loved his visits and time there.
I took a brief look at your work. Walton Pier, beautiful image!
Don't forget that this exhibit ends August 16th in Santa Barbara...!
Saw it yesterday and it was without a doubt one of the finest exhibitions I've seen...the images and the print quality were like nothing I've ever seen...
