Now you can shoot linticular 3-D pictures. Of course, you can't get them made any more, so far as I know -- anyone? -- but the camera can still be used to shoot half-frame standard 3-D prints and slides.

OR

You can take regular half frame pictures four at a time --- you never have to order double prints!

Or you can show it to people and just let them figure things out for themselves. I figure the flash alone is worth the cost.

So, $25 plus $5 shipping, this unit is never used, in the original box with original documents, etc etc etc. Paypal is just marvelous.

ps... just noticed someone left batteries in the flash, there is a titch of corrosion on one of the little springs in there but will clean up nicely. Camera, so far as i can tell, is unused.

someone in canada asked about this but apparently asking for an extra $2.50 to handle the $10 in postage (I eat the difference) was too much.

OK, anywhere in the US or Canada, $30 includes postage. International postage must be what it actually costs. Ain't running a charity here.

If you give me $20 I'll take it off your hands. ;-)

no, but if you will send me digital evidence (receipt) that you have donated $25 to APUG I'll send it to you for free.

it's heavy, you can use it to fight off transients next time you take a stroll along 6th street south of market...
:D

deal?

On their home page, they say they are no longer doing film.

those linticular prints were crap anyway. The ones i had made from a Nimslo camera years ago have faded badly.

You can use this camera to shoot print 3-d pair and since they're vertical half frames they don't need to be cropped -- not that you crop square ones, but just saying.

This format -- the earlier much higher quality Nimslo linticular cameras -- for a while even sparked a small industry of people making close-up lenses that fit over the interior two lenses of these cameras to take close-up 3-d.

Which is not to say that hitting people isn't still the highest and best use of this camera, but print stereo pairs would also be easy to do.

You can also take the individual frames and make them into frames of an animated .gif to see the 3D effect. I've done this with shots from my Nimslo.

sold to a discriminating buyer in Canada.

They must be wiser up there in the Great White North.
