Well, he'd find out eventually.

I saw Ilford's Instagram account reposted a photo you took, by the way.

This my first time in this exchange. I figured he already knew because he was paired with me.

And yes! Everybody’s a sucker for freckles on Ortho film, it seems. 😃

And here I thought it was because it looked like Walker Evans took it

Sometimes, you send the print to someone who sends a print to someone else. Case in point, this round I sent to mfohl and piu58 sent to me. It doesn't matter if you mention who you're sending to, though - at least then they know they can expect it,

Yes, normally we want to be surprised. But not a problem if anybody gives the destination.

I have everything ready since a couple of weeks, the only thing I miss is... an open postal office!! Until mid Septiember they are opened from Monday to Friday and from 8:30-14:30, except the central office. I have a day off next week so I hope to be able to send the it.

Mine is on the mail!
And well received today!
The mailman delivered two splendid color prints at my address, kindly sent to me by halfaman.

Taken during the Easter holidays earlier this year at a local festivity in Vega del Pas, in the northern part of Spain, halfaman made two beautiful prints of a folk musical group who were performing during the festivity.
The first print shows two men playing the bagpipes, with a wonderful shallow depth of field separating both men from the background.
The second print is a closeup which shows the instruments of three people, two playing the drums and one in the middle playing the tambourine.

Shot with a Pentax 67II with the 105mm f/2.4 (which is said to be legendary!) on PRO400H and printed on Fuji Crystal Archive DPII matte.
I am amazed by the accuracy in color balance in both prints, truly perfect! I immediately recognized it to be shot on PRO400H, before I read the letter.
It's been over a decade since I've held a true analog RA4-print in my hands and these photos were a very pleasant surprise when I opened the envelope.
Thank you very much halfaman, these beautiful prints will get a nice place in my collection...

Mailed my photo today!

I received a beautiful print from Trond yesterday. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! It‘s a marvellous still life of two white (or at least very bright) roses against a black background. Printed on a rather matte paper with a slight sheen, which suits the subject perfectly. I wonder what kind of paper you used for this, Trond?

My own print is drying right now, I finished it yesterday and just need to trim and flatten it. So I apologise for the delay, will send it tomorrow or Monday at the latest!

Glad you like it! The paper is Fomatone MG 532. Now sadly discontinued.

I forgot to reconfirm here that my post is on its way across the big pond since last weekend. Hope it won't be too long before it arrives!
