For sale is one box of AZO, Grade 3, 8.5x11, was 250 sheets, just roughly guesstimating it's around 200 now. Need to do a final count.
The box is from 1978(!). It was stored in climate controlled conditions, and my tests show the ever so tiniest bit of fog. I fixed one piece, then compared with a piece that was developed in Dektol 1:2, indicator stop and fix.
Unfortunately my scanner is not working but the two samples to show an almost imperceptible difference. I don't know a whole lot about AZO but have read about it's remarkable keeping properties, so I'm not surprised. I contact printed a few 4x5 negs and it seems to have plenty of contrast. I had to dilute the Dektol to 1:3 to get less contrast, and also pulled the print at 45 secs. Responded very well to the changes in development and toned beautifully in selenium, so I think it's in very good shape.
There was a small stack of paper that had been removed and stored between the two packets in the box. This little bit had some small splotches on the back which don't show on the front, and these did not show up on the paper that was in the packet. Maybe too much detail but I'm trying to be thorough so everyone knows what to expect!
Here are some photos of the box:
I will get a final count. Thinking $1 a sheet, or best offer. Like to add $10 for shipping.
