The Melbourne Camera club will have a table with excess gear being sold. Yours truly will be manning the table.

Have a good time fellas, I'll be in the high country, unfortunately. :pouty:

Not sure what would be cheaper, staying and going to the market, or spending the weekend up in the high country?

Mick.

I'm likely to spend all my money buying out all the curry donuts at breadtop before I make it to the market..

this always clashes with something... this year it's the Phillip Island historic car races, and I really don't need any more junk (however, if anyone sees a glass carrier for a LPL 7452 enlarger, please purchase on my behalf!)

If someone finds a soviet 50mm LTM lens PLEASE purchase for me and I'll pay you back.
You can call on 0458 175 6 3 6 if you want to discuss first.
Cheers.
Tom.
PS I don't really want to spend for than 50 bucks.

Quote of the Day.

Punter: (picking up nice looking Rolleiflex 2.8GX) "How much?"
Trader: "$800" (pause) "But it's not a real camera. It's only a display mock-up."

True.

I picked up some bargains...

2 4x5 double sided film holders for $15.

A capital flash meter for $30.

A Shepherd flash meter later on for $15 (effing awesome.. should have just gotten this).. just did a quick test with a YN-460 II and 30D.. both are metering perfectly.. tested some ceiling bounce.. score! And they both take 9V batteries

Capital is whole stops metering only though, though thats fine.

Well.. now I dont have to carry around my 30D when I dont want to use it! And even if I do want to shoot with the 30D.. it'll make off camera lighting so much less fiddly and time consuming.
