I have inherited a box of cameras and lenses. Too many to list but included are Chinon ce4 and M42 lenses , prime and various makes including a cz 135, a canon AV1 with FD lenses, Accessory tele wide angle lenses (screw into front element), two olympus trip copies , cosmic 35 (original with sales ticket). Other compacts,Flashguns filters etc etc. Most of this was in working order until boxed up about 3years ago and has been stored in the dry. All needs a new home - available for collection or could deliver (depending where to!).
No payment required or necessary although charitable donation would be appreciated so only non-commercial home will be considered.

Sounds like it could be an interesting bunch of stuff that would be a lot of fun! I'm guessing Middle England is probably too far for me, would you consider Royal Mail Standard Parcels as an option?

freecom : Your profile doesnt say where you are, The box weighs the best part of 20kg. it could travel but it would depend where to.

Apologies, I hadn't realised that wasn't on my profile. I'm in London.

You guess? Why is that, don't you know?!!!

Will you be splitting this up if no one wants the whole lot?

Nice to meet you today, Hector and thanks for dropping it off.

I've got Hector's box of goodies here. I'll photograph everything over the weekend and post up the pics.

Would like to register my interest in possibly the Chinon and M42 lenses - in advance, I appreciate the effort from all parties

Sorry for the delay on this. If you're interested in anything please reply below - No Pms - This is first-come-first-served and dealing with posts here and pms is too difficult, also if everyone replies here we can all see if there's already been interest in an item.

Normally I wouldn't ask for postage costs, but there's so much stuff here that I will have to ask for a little otherwise this will be expensive for me. Reply here if you're interested and I will pm you and we'll go from there.

This stuff has had only a very brief look over my me - nothing is film tested. You take the risk but you can always post it back to me if you're unhappy.

Thanks for the effort - as mentioned before, appreciated.

I'd very much like the Chinon CX and the Carl Zeiss 135mm f/3.5 please. Would of course cover all postage costs - the least I could do.

I'd also be interested in the Vivitar 24mm f/2.8, depending on the mount.

Hi freecom - the CX and CZ 135/3.5 are yours. I'll get back to you on the 24/2.8 Viv later today and i'll work out postage in the next few days.

If the mount on the Vivitar 24mm is no good for freecom2 then I might be interested... depending on what the mount actually is!

Also, is that little Minolta Himatic available?

The Vivitar is Pentax fit: P/ES. Screw thread so I suppose M42.

The HiMatic is available. It needs new light seals but bar that seems to work fine. Nice camera, I almost kept it back for myself!

In that case, put me down for the Himatic. I have a few acres of 1mm self adhesive black foam at work so the seals shouldn't be a problem.

And if the Vivitar 24mm isn't wanted, it is now!

That would make a lovely M42 set, so yes please. Apologies Steve - but that Himatic looks like it would be a lot of fun, nice simple with Rokkor glass.
