My partner wants to go to Bowral sometime around June/July and has very kindly said that I am "allowed" to bring the 8x10. Does anyone know of any good spots around there for photography?
Mike
I haven't been since the early 1980's, but my lasting memory was a whole lot of deteriorating Railway infrastructure....especially up towards Picton and the like, and heaps of pretty forests and "mountains". Mind you, I was probably only 12 or so at the time...
depends what floats yer boat really... you wouldn't be far from Kangaroo Valley if you like landscapes. Avon and Nepean dams are kinda nearby if you like big concrete walls (there are some cute old-style picnic areas near the dams)
Belanglo State forest, where Ivan buried all his victims....
Mike,
Some of us are just a little further up the road. Maybe you can go for a bit of a "drive" and meet a couple of us. You could head down onto the coast plain via Roberston. A bit of surf and cliffs.
Pat
Pat, I wish, but I';ll be going up with the "better" half, so I don't think I'll have much say. Cold doesn't worry me so I'll probably be shooting Kangaroo Valley.
Mike
Mike,
As long as there is not a "shooting" in the kangaroo valley. Fitzroy falls is nice so is the dam. Spent a lot of time there back in the early 80's full of wonderful people now. Enjoy.
