After coming back into the world of analog photography I decided I needed a proper rangefinder again. I had enjoyed my Barnack quite a bit, before I sold it to help fund my first dslr, but didn't enjoy the separate vf and Rf. I wanted an m5 but couldn't justify the price, and it's bigger than a Barnack. Then I laid eyes on a Zorki 3, and I new I wanted one. Barnack size, combination vf/Rf, and perhaps the best looking camera I've ever seen!
Have been enjoying my time shooting with it, and pleasantly surprised how much better made and finished it is than the latter zorki 4 and 4k's. I know it has a bad reputation of fragility, but I'll service it and treat it well. It's over 60 and still smooth so I'm not worried.
I must also say I am very impressed with Yuri at Fedka.com, his store is great with reasonable prices, and he responds within hours not days. Very honest and great person to deal with!
The 5 is nice too, but the 3 with a collapsible lens I can take anywhere in my pocket very easily.
