I'm trying to decide whether to ditch my Bos-Screen and go back to a regular ground glass. My first view camera had standard ground glass, which I found to be perfectly fine. My second came with a Bos-Screen. It's certainly a lot brighter and clearer, but it's really finicky about the angle at which I view the image, and I can't actually see it with both eyes at the same time. I also felt like the ground glass allowed more precise focusing with a 7x loupe.
So am I missing something about this screen that makes it as popular as it is? Is there something else that has the best features of both?
