I'm not sure if he's a member here, it would be awesome if he was, but this is a guy that I've been watching for some time. He released a new video yesterday that I found mesmerizing, tranquil, serene. There are no words, seriously he doesn't even speak. But the amount of emotion in this video is high! Definitely worth the 17 minute watch.
Love his work too. In particular his carbon prints on glass have inspired me to take up the technique. The ULF and wet plate stuff... another day, perhaps! Eagerly awaiting a return to normalcy so it will once again be possible to attend in-person workshops with inspiring practitioners.
He is truly awesome guy. Definely will try to get to his workshops one day and visit Slovenia.
I think I found this forum because of him, I think he mentioned this in some of his videos (praising the knowledge at Alt.Print. side).
Doing ULF wet plate in the woods is just crazy. My favorite videos are these:
He has inspired me in:
- doing paper negatives (and because of this I built 5x7" camera)
- doing salt printing
- learning "mindfulness" and caused me reading New Earth by Ekhart Tolle with awe
- doing 6x17 (and built camera because of this..)
I don't know which is actually better, his audio/video-work or the glass plates. Seems that the analog stuff get in foots of his video footage. Vlogs must take more time than the photography itself
I joined one of Borut's workshops on carbon printing in 2019. We were a bunch of guys from Slovenia, Austria, and Italy. The energy and the knowledge that Borut passes to his pupils are just amazing.

Wow.....good for you.!
That must have been very interesting.
Did you make a carbon print in his class.....have you continued with carbon since taking his class.?
