Thank you for sharing. Wonderful book and all in B&W too. I hadn't seen it before. Do you know in what year the photos are made by Salgado?
The music is beautiful also (maybe a bit heavy for this book): what is it?
Bert from Holland

BTW: Nice how you captured the shadow-people yourself.
As often only the musicians seem like real people and alive between al these ghostlike figures in this place.

Thanks . On every photo there is a year and location: most of this Salgado made from 1977-1985.

EDIT: Music is Opus Nigrum - Requiem by Mozart.

Thank you. It looks like a beautiful book. Photos of struggle, suffering and grief that might feel voyeuristic in the hands of another, are given an air of respect and dignity by Salgado. His TED talk is well worth a few moments of your time.

The Mozart suits your video perfectly.

Aren't these images copyright by Salgado and his publishers ?
