Hi, Everyone,
I would like to invite all emulsion makers working with handmade paper to submit work (images, or images and text) for a book I am writing for Focal Press: “The Handmade Silver Gelatin Emulsion Print.”
The book will be part of Christina Z. Anderson's series: https://www.routledge.com/Contempor...rnative-Process-Photography/book-series/CPAPP
The format of each book in the series is about 3/4 single author and 1/4 contributing authors. I am inviting anyone who is making silver gelatin emulsion paper, no matter what stage you are in your learning curve, to submit for consideration. As a matter-of-fact, I'm particularly interested in seeing the work of beginners. This is essentially a new medium. We should celebrate the exploration. Your work needn't be "perfect," and unconventional art is very welcome.
This is an opportunity to be in the first modern book devoted to handmade silver gelatin paper making, and Focal Press books are beautiful!
Please email me at editor@thelightfarm.com for more information. The deadline is February 15, so don't hesitate!
Denise Ross
