My name is Kévin, I live in France in Avon near Fontainebleau. I am a complete amateur in terms of photography but this is a hobby I like to practice for fun.
I very recently got into film photography and built (or rather improvised in my bedroom...) a dark room at home to process black and white and color prints. My first prints have been my travel photos from my Iceland trip last September.
Look forward to seeing the Iceland pics. Your English is a heck of a lot better than my French. I lived many years in New Orleans, and even though we spelled most words the same, the way we pronounced them was like a foreign language to the visitors from France.

Well, sure. Those are taken with Portra 400 film in a Praktica Super TL 2 camera with either Helios 44-2 or Mir 1-B lenses. Printed at home on Fuji Crystal archive. My cheap scanner can only decently achieve 600 dpi so the scans aren't quite sharp.
Soyez le bienvenue! Glad to have you with us. You live in a beautiful part of France, and of course just walking and shooting in Paris is a treat. Not to mention the camera shows at Bievres and Chelles, and the photo exhibits throughout the country. Your prints are very nice, especially impressive that you are doing color!
