I have a Bolsey Model B2 with a sticky shutter (seems to fire at the same speed from 1/50th through 1/200th, doesn't fire on 1/10th but does on 1/25th) and a non-functional winding knob. When loading film, the knob works fine, but as soon as I let go of the knob all of the film unwinds. It's like the tension in the film is enough to unwind it, and like there's nothing keeping the knob from spinning freely. This prevents me from loading film or shooting.
The Bolsey flash doesn't seem to work either. I've tried it in both of my other Model B2s (both work fine) and the flash doesn't fire in any of them. I've used AA batteries and tried 505 batteries too, but nothing works. When I follow the circuit, I can trace the negative going back to the camera, but there's nothing to connect the negative to the bulb. How should I go about repairing the camera and the flash? Or should I send it off to someone else, in which case who should I send it to?
