I'm trying to get away with the lightest/cheapest tripod legs/head combo to adequately support a Hasselblad with a 50, 80, or 150mm lens. Would the Bogen Manfrotto 3001BN legs with the standard Bogen Manfrotto 3025 head be a workable setup?
The other light combo possibility available to me is a Gitzo G1126 MK2/G1177M legs/head pairing. Would the Gitzo setup be more or less suitable than the Bogen, or about equal?

I had a 3001 with the 3025 head and I did shoot my Bronica SQa on it when needed. Never thought the combo was inadequate. If fact, I shot the Bronica on it a lot until I got a heavier tripod.

I still have a 3001 and use an EMO Multi-Ball for RB67 & 35mm. The head is scarce but Giottos makes one of similar size.
You might consider a 3031 which is a cine head and is very well damped & not prone to flopping over if you loosen it & are not holding the camera.

I found the 3025 one of the most inconvenient pieces of equipment to exist on the planet.
