I have not been into blogging, basically because I find it difficult to find the time. But finally taken the plunge. Not for chit chat but sharing recent work I don't necessarily update onto my website. I thought I'd share for those that are interested.

If you have one, please share your blog with us.

Kind regards,
Nicole

I set up a blog as well, all writings about photography or vision in general... Helps tp keep me motivated and moving forward. I've broken it down into 3 types of entries: the MAKING OF specific pictures, general MUSINGS, and more formal ESSAYS.

Wow! Nicole, your work is wonderful! I know you bring much happiness to your clients.

I have a blog of sorts: http://www.visionlandscapes.com/Blog.aspx. I'm thinking I should do more with it - I like the way you show off some of your images, I'm thinking about doing the same, except I may talk about how the image was created.

Great idea, Nicole.

I keep an aggregator aimed at APUG blogs:

Dead Link Removed and scroll down to "Shoot APUG"

And of course there's [hurl=http://www.photorant.com]PhotoRant[/url]

Very nice blog, Nicole! I love looking at your photography.

I started posting a blog a short while ago.

With the plethera of photography blogs out there today (do we blame Edward Weston or Alec Soth?), I wonder what approach to take when I am writing my own. I guess it is similar to my photography. It just comes down to being a personal representation.

Thank you very much Art Eddie and Digidurst. I wish I had more time to hang out here these days, there are just not enough hours in the day.
Suzanne, my friend, I thoroughly enjoyed your insights into your own work on your blog.

Nicole, very nice images on your blog and I like the tone of the blog.

I do have my blog, but had no time to keep update and put in words, so most of it is only pictures. I promise to do more maintainance when my kids grow up, in about 15 years

Here is the blog: http://www.pbase.com/highpeak/daily_photography

PS. Can somebody tell me what is the comment means? Don't know the language

I decided to start an analogue blog.

Every morning, with my coffee, I walk in the street and tell the people what I think of the weather, why I didn't have more time to blog recently, how politics are all gone wrong, and why they should buy more organic food (the things you DIDN'T know!)

Lately, I started to carry a portable TV so I can show amusing clips. Hey, there's that one with a dog that has a hat, it's so funny.

With all the attention I've been getting, I decided to get more bandwidth, so I tried carrying a snare drum with me before each post, but I lost people when I stopped drumming. So instead, I bought a megaphone, and now I've increased my audience count to about a dozen more.

I post photos every once in a while, but I can only do so at night because I use slide film. And the projector is heavy. I tried instead to have music postings, so my Sousaphone-playing buddy occasionally walks with me and plays music to match the mood I'm in.

People have accused me of making a covert filesharing activity, but that's just plain false! I only have a copy of everything because it's the analogue world: when I share it, I need to have it back!

Anyway, it's licensed under Creative Commons, so when you see me on the street, you can appropriate me without asking my permission, as long as it's not for commercial purposes. I don't want to end up in a beer ad without knowing about it.

PS: my sole attempt at blogging so far has been http://zygmund-oustrefloski.blogspot.com/

Hey, Nicole... thank you for your nice comments about my blog. You can add a statcounter to your site to see who has looked at it, where they linked from, etc. www.statcounter.com. It will generate a bit of code that you insert into the blog preferences. Can't remember where, exactly... doh!!!

Mine! Mine! Mine!

For years it was just primarily a gallery type site, and I only added the blog side to it a few months ago. I don't think anyone actually reads it, but its nice to just have a spot to lay down thoughts, and small snippets of information every now and then so that people who do come across the site actually know that I'm still active or not.

Thank you so much for that link. I added it just now to my extremely intermittent blog which I am about to update. I haven't posted it on apug because the images are pretty much the same as those in my gallery, and I've not written very much that needs to be read by anyone. But having a counter may be fresh inspiration to try to keep more current with the blog. Thanks again, Suzanne.
