I replaced my original EOS-1 with a 1n early last year, but have only just started to actually use it. Work got busy and I wasn't able to shoot film for myself so although I tested it to ensure it all worked, I never actually ran a roll through it.
No problems at all, it works beautifully; the metering is superb and I love shooting with a nice, solid film camera again. I have noticed, however, that the single shot indicator proceeds to blink on the LCD panel after I start shooting and doesn't stop until I switch it off. Turn back on, and it remains steady until I start shooting when it then begins to blink again. I'm stumped!!
No problems with film winding on or rewinding - it all works as expected, but this didn't occur on the EOS-1 and I'm wondering if it's an indication of a problem or something else entirely?
Batteries are fine, they aren't draining and the 2 rechargeable packs operate and recharge well too.
I have looked through the manual, but it doesn't shine any light on this issue, so I'm hoping someone here has an answer or can at least give me some guidance.
Overall, I'm extremely impressed with it - wish I'd upgraded sooner.
