Blind Print Exchange Round 29 (BPX29) , status and updates

Happy to report arrival of 3 very nice B&W prints from Laurent about 10 minutes ago.
Laurent thank you and a nice set indeed of your "Street Photography" images taken in Utrecht.
I like the one of the girl on her bicycle and a typical look at the photographer as she cycles by.

I have been sent a lovely toned print of a figure that has been made and painted many times, in different ways, and then put on display in the senders father's village. I can only imagine what the full set must look like.

The print has been taken on a Rolleiflex 2.8 GX, which having just checked, is a beautiful TLR, with even the few second hand ones being a little out of my price range. One can dream though!

Received a print by tezzasmall
Nice tones, interesting scene. The paper texture suits the image very well.
At first sight I thought it was printed on hand-covered liquid emulsion

Glad to hear the print arrived and you liked it Ilya.

For information, it was a coastal scene local to where I live, printed on Ilford Art 300 paper, which has a slight texture to it along with a little sepia-ish tone. I've had a box for a while but recently I pulled it out and have been printing on it more. The right subject looks totally different on it compared to my usual RC pearl paper and really adds to the quality of the print overall.

Terry, earlier I didn't mention, that I really enjoyed not only a print but a letter enclosed as well.

Great to hear you enjoyed the print as well as the note enclosed Ilya. I do try to write a little more in my notes when I send a print out, with more than basic film used, shutter speed etc. Although that's fine if that's what you want to do, but I would love to receive a print with a background story if possible. The photograph can then take on a different slant.
