Question - some other exchanges I've participated in required a unique, never before shared in an exchange image. I don't recall - is that a requirement here? I have more identical prints I made of the same one I sent last time, and this time is a different recipient, and I have another print of an image I sent to a previous LFPF exchange that I can send. All those are ready to go and can be sent out soon as I can package them. Otherwise, I've been dealing with some family emergency matters and I don't know if I'll be able to print this weekend or not. If not I will bow out.
Sorry, things came up with family.
I didn't think there would be a problem with a print made before the exchange, I was just concerned about a print of an image I had already used in an exchange. I can send the same image I sent in the last exchange (it's a different person so would be totally new to them) or the one I've used in the LFPF exchange, which will also be new to the recipient but IS posted online, or at least a scan of a smaller version, on a web page made for that exchange that year. That's probably sufficiently obscure though.

I'll pack up one of these and get it out, thanks.
And Dali, I've engaged in several exchanges, two here, several times on FADU and twice on the LFPF. I've always sent my print. I intend to - as above. And if I couldn't have I'd have let folks know, and if I had already received a print (I have not) I would have sent it on to the next person in place of my print per the rules.
PM sent by TheToadMen said:Your participation in the BPX20: how are you doing?
Dear BPX20 member,
It seems that you haven’t sent your print in the BPX20 yet to the person assigned to you. The deadline expired some time ago and we haven’t heard from you yet.
Could you please reply to this PM and let me know what your status is? Will you be able to send a print shortly?
If for some reason you can’t, please let me know. We'll figure something out, but just let me know.
However, if you did send a print and I missed that info, please tell me when you posted it, so I can check with the recipient if he forgot to post that he received it.
Thank you,
Bert from Holland
I'm not participating in this round, but have in many previous rounds. My experience has been that in about one out of three cases either I never received a print, or I never hear back an acknowledgement that my sent print was received.
Those who in the past have received a print from me know how much effort I put into this exchange. So I'll admit that it's a bit more than just disappointing when the full "exchange" part does not happen. I'm not sure why people sign up if they aren't going to meet the commitment. I didn't sign up this time because I knew I couldn't. Maybe it's just real easy to click that mouse one more time without really paying attention?
In any case, I think Bert does a fine job guiding this member exercise. And, at least at this moment, it appears that I should be able to sign up for the next round. Unless they decide to start that next big project at work during the upcoming fourth quarter...
If I do sign up, and you receive a package from me, please at least say something. Doesn't need to be a commentary or full critique. Just a simple acknowledgement is all.

I signed up because I thought I could. Life, unpleasant life, happened and I haven't been in the darkroom since, though I've shot and have a growing backlog of exposed film. But yeah, my recipient will get their print, I'll ship in the next week.
Oh! Don't get me wrong. I'm not referring to anyone in this round. There's plenty of time for everyone here who may have experienced the unforeseen to eventually catch up. If I were to received a print months after the official deadline for a round I'd consider that fine. Participants have real lives to lead.
No, I'm referring to people from years back. Many of them just completely disappeared from APUG entirely. Not a clue as to where they, or my expected or delivered prints, might have gone. Vanished. Like in an Alfred Hitchcock movie. Or from a Greyhound bus in the desert from the Twilight Zone...

...I'm glad I'm finally getting my things back together...
Thanks,
Bert from Holland
