Dear photographers,

My tiny pocket computer mixed again all of us. Everybody should have a got message from me with a pair of addresses. The first block contains your own address as given to me. Please, make certain that your own address is correct. PM me as soon as possible if a correction is needed to YOUR address.

The second block contains the address of your partner: You have to send your print(s) to there. Please wait a few days before sending anything to allow time for corrections. Make sure you mark your box with your name and

BPX 39
on it.

If you are unable to complete your assignment, it is understandable - life often gets in a way of our hobbies. However, it would be very helpful if you let me know so that I could change the assignment to somebody else.

If somethings is or seems to be wrong please PM me.

Our timeline:
Print and Send: April 2022 to June 2022
Rest and Relaxation: July 2022

Have fun with BPX!

I received 2 nice prints from Buzz-01. The Nettar captured good detail in both photos. Had to look up the River Donge, the reflection of the tall grass on the water surface very nice. The Apple Farm detail in the Apple Farm is great, the burlap showed very nice. Thank you, now I need to figure out how to mount them together. By the way, what kind of apple trees?

Good to hear they arrived and I'm glad you like them! I was pleasantly surprised as well with the quality of the Nettar's lens. It's a very fine camera in my opinion.
About the apple farm, I'm not entirely sure what kind of apples they grow, but I do know they are the red/yellow type. Most likely they will be Elstar or Jonagold here in Holland.

Just received a wonderful photo from whomever was assigned to me (the name doesn't match their Photrio username, and my poor sleuthing skills failed me). The image is of the High Falls on the Pigeon River, well-composed and executed. The accompanying letter provides some detail as to the subject, but also the equipment challenges he faced ... and ably overcame. Hats off!

That would be mine! I'm glad you received it in good order, and that you appreciated it! The equipment challenges were not insurmountable, but an iPad does not make for a strong light source, and I must be the only person still using the Paper Exposer app! 110 seconds in yellow, 200 in magenta, I believe?

Received a nice print from absalom1951. It's a print of a tree stump that looks like a snake head, although I'd go with turtle! The photo has small depth of field to emphasize the head, well done. The print has a lovely tone, you did not mention toning - is it the natural tone of the Fomatone 131 paper?
Very nice, thank you!!

Thank you for the kind words. You are right, it very easily could be a turtle:smile:. Fomatone MG Classic131 is a warm tone paper. I develop it in Gevaert G 62 dilution at 1:4 for 4-6 minutes. I control the tone by dilution and time in the developer. I'm just getting my toes wet with this combo but so far I'm pleased . I'm happy you are pleased, thank you .

I received a great print from Don Heisz, the kind I like, water/grasses/trees on 6x9 loaded with detail especially where the branches reach out of the bare trees in the back. Plus it's on a paper that's mentioned in my Kodak "Paper Sampler" Silk Lustre Ektalure Y paper! Thanks.

I got my print out to Finn lyle as well.

I'm glad you liked it, Bill. I have a couple of packets of that Ektalure Y paper that is miraculously still good, in spite of being 60 years old or so. A different finish would show the sharpness of the image a bit more, but I find that Y finish kind of interesting in its own right.
