Hi, hope this isn't too dumb to ask but I came across this Blik rangefinder that I bought from Ebay a long time ago and am hoping I can use it with the Agfa Isolette II I bought (also some time ago). My question is are the markings here in meters? It doesn't specify but it goes up to 15 from 1, and I see that the other Bliks online are said to be in meters but would like to be sure as so many external rangefinders on Ebay are in feet (and many are seriously overpriced). Anyway here are the minimum and maximum markings. Thanks

You can prove it to yourself by simply standing in a bedroom with your back at one wall and focus on the opposite wall...
If the rangefinder shows 10-15 it is measuring in feet, but if it is showing 3-5 it is measuring in meters.

Nevertheless, you could estimate its size, and determine if the displayed value on the rangefinder is 1x (feet) or 1/3x (meters) what you expected. And to help with your estimation of room dimension, a Twin mattress is 38", a Full is 53", a Queen is 60"

It is my understanding that the Soviet Union used the metric system as the official measurement system, so most likely all of the length/distance indication on lens is on meters/centimeters, unless it is export version, which often comes with both feet's and meter's.
