I've done plenty of bleach & redeveloping using pot. ferri and pot. bromide. About to try the copper sulfate/acid bleach as well.
I've also done plenty of Bromoil matrices, bleached and tanned with Copper Sulfate, Potassium Bromide, Potassium Dichromate. These are fixed after bleaching.
So, question: is there a way to get a fixed bromoil matrix to redevelop? I've tried soaking one in ferri/bromide bleach, but no go. (Which was kind of odd, bleaching a blank sheet of paper...)
I don't have an understanding of how the chemistry works - is there something in the bromoil bleach that makes any further redevelopment impossible? I know the fixing does, but fixed prints can be bleached and re-dev'd. Thanks for any info to the chemically minded out there...
