The last to rolls of B&W film I have developed had one or two properly exposed frames and the rest are clear and blank?????
Kodak PX125 developed in D75 1:1 @ 79deg. for 6.5 mins, indicator stop bath and Kodak professional fixer.

The lens cap was off, RB67 SLR, and I was very deliberate in my exposure using a hand held meter, tripod and even taking my time to write the exposure data down and think the shot through.

Does the blank area begin cleanly at a frame boundary -- not some ragged edge?

Are there frame numbers showing along the edge of the film in the blank stretch?

Those conditions would imply a camera/exposure problem.

I had a blank frame on a roll one time and it was because of the" mirror up " setting on the lens.I thought I had taken the shot and only realized what I had done when I wound on for the next shot. All in all I find the RB67 pretty foolproof except for that.

I had this problem intermittently after I has a Mamiya C-330 cla'ed. It took several rolls before I realized that the baffle which prevents light from striking the film when the lenses are changed was not properly secured. It was flopping back and forth regardless of the setting for locked and unlocked.

Do you have a similar feature in your camera?

Alan, I think you've done it!

The mirror up set on the lens. The few exposure that did expose properly were the one where I had the mirror up and used the cable release.
Thanks
