And this is a thread about snobbery, Lust, bragging. Not about performance per se, although we know that no matter what, they’re all Leica’s descendants and wannabes.

Totally agree. I Love mine! Today I have printed 72 contact sheets, 10 of which were shot with my Leica II and Nickel elmar 5cm.
Looking good... can’t wait to enlarge them
 
That’s why I do not bother with the non-Leica stuff. Today was a hektor 2.8cm day for me, paired with a Black Paint M7.

How do you like the Hektor? I much prefer the results from my Orion 15... butt yeah, it goes against the thread snobbery thing.

p.s please post a pic taken w the Hektor if u can...

Seems like all the "Leica Rangefinder-Look" digicams I see are silver, so im surprised the black originals cost more than the silver ones.
The only camera I have that accepts Leica bayonet lenses is a Bessa R4M that only came in black. I never bought a Leica lens for it because in my hands I find rangefinders so cumbersome and hard to use compared to my favorite Nikon n75.
Interesting the black n75s I have cost almost 3 times the silver n75s.
I also thought with the popularity of silver film cameras these days that if there ever were a Nikon f7 it might come in silver or black.

Thank you Huss. It was a window display in Tokyo, just minutes from where i bought the camera....lens was an LTM Summaron 2.8.
