Old lube, the shutter blades are stuck to/in the blade housing. If you like to experiment, remove the lens elements and flush clean the shutter. The second option, which is safer but is not as much fun/frustrating is to send it out for a CLA.

Best option is to send it for CLA, as others have suggested. I suggest Paul Ebel:

In the unlikely event you don't think the lens is worth that, you can try removing the elements and "flushing" the shutter with lighter fluid. That might provide a temporary fix. But unless the glass is in really bad shape, I think a professional CLA is in order.

If you are of average intelligence and work methodically you can fix almost anything. The people that you send your lens to are not superhuman. Go to www.kyphoto.com/classics there you will find a group of people who do fix almost anything themselves plus loads of advice if you are not sure. Not so many years ago when we were not so rich we had to do it ourselves. Don't waste your money!

Kitchen table D.I.Y. photographic equipment repairers are like surgeons you only hear about their successes, they bury their mistakes. if lenses are disassembled they need to be re- collimated on an optical bench to ensure all the elements are parallel to each other and all line up to a datum line through the lens centre .
