I am selling a very nice black Fujica ST701 35mm SLR with a matching 55mm F1.8 M42 mount Fujinon lens. The camera is in good condition and working, although I do not have the correct batteries to test the meter. Therefore I am selling this as meter non-working (and priced accordingly). The camera is fully mechanical so this is not a serious problem (and most of you know exposure well).
The auto action lens iris closes rapidly and stops down as it should when the shutter is fired at all speeds. The iris is noticeably sluggish opening up after the shutter is fired (for full aperture viewing), but this does not impact usage of the camera of lens in the slightest. I mention it for the worried perfectionist.
The ST701 was one of the last mass produced M42 SLR's, nicely made in Japan, and if you enjoy the M42 format, you will like this camera -- as I do!
