Sad news, heard it on the radio a little while ago. Anyone who hasn't seen the film, Bill Cunningham, New York that was made about him should.

Holy Cow...!!
I really admire the professional lives that some of these people had.
Anybody know his family history.?
Bills Neighbor/Friend made a living shooting all kinds of Celebrities/Movie Stars.! Like minds I suppose.....
Funny...those girls on the street said something like.....Take our picture and we'll break your fucking camera. If they had known who he was, they would have lined up for him.
He had a long and interesting career.
I'll Be Your Mirror.......

Ted Forbes pays his respects below.
I love Bills work, but ironically, i have almost no interest in it. I am a very "Blue-Collar" kind of guy...jeans, white T-Shirt, flannel long sleeve if it gets cold.
But i am enthralled by Bills photo work...partly because he was such a nice guy, and HE actually lived a very blue-collar life himself.

Sad to hear this news. Bill was a wonderful man who absolutely loved fashion. The streets of New York
will miss him dearly.
