If you like, you can express here your intentions and wishes for future film and / or digital cameras.
And you can give feedback about the Pentax 17, too.

English:

French:

German:

Info:
The English survey is in proper language, but the other two have severe translation errors.

A very important survey not only for Ricoh / Pentax, but for the whole film community, and DSLR users.
The more participants, the better.

Best regards,
Henning

I linked this survey yesterday in the Pentax 17 thread, but good idea to make a separate post for more visibility.

Harman has also released a survery today.

Sorry, I have not seen it.
But as this Pentax survey is not only about film photography, but also about Pentax and Ricoh's digital offers, I think it is the right subforum here (therefore I have also tagged it as both film and digital topic).

I liked the survey very much. Basically, it let me pick features for their new film camera.

If anybody wants to know, it will be an AF, AE, autowind FF compact camera with stellar lens and exposure compensation. 😀

Interesting subject matter in principle, but poor survey design, down to the conceptual level. Ah well. We get to voice our opinions/experiences. That's nice.

I agree. The design of this survey could have been better. The Harman survey is definitely better made.
But nonetheless we as photographers / customers have the chance to tell Pentax / Ricoh our needs and wishes for future products.
I think we should take that chance.
And Pentax 17 users also can give feedback based on their experiences.

Thanks für the Info!
I've participated.

I think it is a very good possibility to express the demand for both film SLRs, and DSLRs. Because the future of both at a very small camera manufacturer like Ricoh-Pentax is probably very much linked together: They are dependent on each other, as the main important parts can be shared between the two (prism, AF system, shutter, mirror-box, exposure system, mount, lenses).

Isn't that a bit of high praise for that survey? However I agree that it is good that we get to voice our opinions & experiences.

That is a very good and important point.

I agree to the others who've said this survey could have been better designed. Nevertheless, much better than no review at all.
Therefore I've filled-out the survey.
