Massive. I've used it for my 8x10 but getting something that will travel easier. Very good shape, extremely steady but also fairly heavy. Would like to sell locally in Portland if possible. $200
It is an excellent and very strong tripod. I was crippled a few years ago and I would use one, with the camera that fits on top, to get up and into a wheelchair. I needed motivation to get up and my lovely big camera rig, helped get back to health.
I love that second picture, is the dog included? =]
Apug is quite a remarkable place where someone such as Randy can comment on a lesser known tripod and point out the catalogs where they are listed too, such an amazing wealth of information we have here collectively.
Just a heads up, I flipped this over to weigh it for someone and noticed for the first time that one spike on a leg is missing. I've used the for six months without noticing so I don't think it affects use unless you're on slippery floors or somewhere you'd need spikes.
