I guess I'll be surprised if this sells here. For one thing, I don't really know what it's worth myself. You see these nutty prices on Ebay for these.
I think the one I have is every bit as worthy as the ones that these guys are asking $3500 for. Of course those are all available for viewing week in and week out, because no one buys them. So what is this lens worth?
I suppose if you've read this far, you're well aware of the ins and outs of Biogon's. They are BIG. Bigness comes with relative weight. Etc. etc. So what do they do that a 4.5 Grandagon doesn't?
The main thing besides being one of the sharpest lenses on earth, is the eveness of illumination. No center filter needed.
And undoubtedly there is the mystique of owning a lens that very few people on earth will ever have the pleasure of holding, owning, using. Romance must be a part of this thing, right? So what is this lens worth? $2500? I'm open to conversation / offers.
