Beyond The Zone System - Wonder Wheel with Factory Film Paper Data

I know BTZS Wonder Wheel making is in the 1981 Book. I tried to read it and will try to read more. Its difficult.
I want to make a woder wheel with Fomapan 100 D76 Factory Data and I want to add this ilford multigade and multigrade developer 1+9 factory data. I have no access to densiometers , V700 scanners etc. Has anyone tried before ?

One thing I would do before I did anything when using Foma 100 film is to always think of it as a ISO 50 film and not ISO 100. Most everyone here that uses Foma 100 or Arista 100 rates it lower than ISO 100. I rate it at ISO 50 myself and never try to over-develop it.

At least here in the U.S, in 1981 Foma was uncommon, by the second edition Davis was no longer using the Wonder Wheel his methodology has shifted to use of densiometer so it is unlikely, still possible, that someone has the data you are looking for.. Second, Davis wrote that BTZS was developed for sheet film, although you can use the testing to find the effective film speed you can obtain the same ISO for any given roll film by shooting a ring around. As noted above looking at the Foma data sheet for Foma 100 the only developer that comes close to ISO 100 is ILford Microphen, most developers are a full stop slower around 50 to even 25. Below is the link to the View Camera Store who sells BTZS tuitorals and will test flm, just not 35mm, only sheet film. You can contact Fred to see if he has tested Foma. Seems his current film of choise for BTZS is Delta 100.

I hope he can be of assistance, just remember that what ever data he has will not apply to your situation. As you are a 35mm shooter and he shoots sheet film your meter and shutter may not match.

I think we can select one photo in 35mm film and develop the roll with specific to this photo and discard others. This makes me sheet film shooter when using 35mm camera.

I have loaded 35mm from bulk in rolls of 4 or 5 exposures, then develop for highlights, from +2 to _2. Currently I use a ring around to find a E.I for a given film and developer, use spot meter on my Minolta A mount cameras and meter for zone III then develop for Zone VII and adjust with VC paper. If you can get the data for Delta 100 then you need a decent incident meter.
