I want to mix up my Beutler. I have used (4 rolls) Neofin Blue for Fortepan 100 and Fortepan 50.
As I do have some of them, i wanted to develop the rest in Beutler.
There are no times though.
Does anyone know the times for

Orwo NP15
Fortepan 50
Fortepan 100
Orwo NP20 and NP22
Foma 200 (perhaps not so recommendable)
and if possible Svema FN64

Also what is the best way to figure out a time, a starting point?
I have read most of the threads here on Beutler and searched, but it seems to be for other films.

It does not have any of these films.
What is a similar emulsion? Same speed?

Sorry that there were no direct matches. Digital truth is the most extensive database that I know of. By similar emulsion I mean for example a traditional one as opposed to say one using T-grain technology. Yes, use the time for a similar speed film.

Any recommended developing time should be considered as a suggested starting point. Each person's methods differ. Such things as thermometer accuracy, agitation, etc all factor in. So some adjustment is most always needed.

Sometimes you have to work three sides of a four-sided square. Go to Flickr, as I've just done, and search "beutler orwo" and you'll get a number of photos -- like this one: www.flickr.com/photos/aprilman/7874683834/

This photographer kindly lists his temps and times for Orwo UN54.

Then go to Massive Dev Chart and choose a developer, maybe D-76 as a standard place to start. See what the development times are for NP15 and UN54 -- does one need more time than the other, and if so, how much more or less? Do this with another developer, perhaps D-23, and again see if one needs more or less time than the other. You should start to see a pattern emerge, that NP15 needs either more, less or the same time as UN54.

With that knowledge, you can take the temps/time/agitation from flickr photo and adjust your time up or down accordingly.

It may not be perfect, but I think it's a reasonable approach to getting a ballpark starting point. You can do the same for the other emulsions you are interested in.
