Betterscanning - is he still in business?

I placed an order 2 weeks ago and his site said an email would be sent to me in 1 business day with payment info.

I'm still waiting. After about a week in I sent him a "what's up" email, still no answer.

Anyone have any other ways of contacting him?? I REALLY need some ANR glass for scanning 35mm negs with a bow in them.

he may be dealing with a shelter in place order, or even worse, actually sick with the virus that’s been going around.

Have you tried laying the negative emulsion down straight on scanner glass and place some heavy glass on top?

I did some time ago but the neg hight is not optimal for sharp scans. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Over on the LF forum they say he hasn't been heard from for at least four months. Not looking good.

I got some ANR glass from him in January without issue. Hope he's OK!
