I found and old Accura Supertel 105mm f2.4 preset lens in the T mount. I can't find much out about this lens, but it seems quite sharp, even wide open, and the bokeh is quite nice (I think I count 15 aperture blades?!). Does anybody else have any recommendations for cheap T (or T2) mount lenses that are good quality? Or any info about Accura? The lens was made in Japan, but the address in the box is Flushing, NY.

P.S.: I'm not interested in mirror lenses or 500mm telephotos.

Never had a t-mount lens, George. I did have an Accura 135mm f2.8 Diamatic lens with a non-ai Nikon mount back in the mid-90s. Purchased it for around $10 or so at a flea market. Kept it for just a short time. I called it a 135/2.8 Diabetic lens because it lacked a sweet spot.

The Accura 105 2.4 is the same as the Spiratone 2.5 (Accura cheated a little ). The Spiratone is a decent lens. There is someone on Flickr that did side by side comparisons with the Spiratone and the Nikon 105 2.5. Do a Google search for the Spiratone 105 2.5 and the link to Flickr should come up.

My understanding is that Accura is the brand name used by Sigma to market their lenses in the 1960s. Sigma also supplied rebranded lenses to many resellers back then, including Spiratone.
