Here's a custom-made strap - limited edition of 7. The clips are OEM Rolleiflex Strap. The buckle is a gold-colored metal, brass rivets, silver star in last end hole. Dark brown English leather replaces the worn our original leather. This is fine craftsmanship. I have a leather craftsman friend who did this for me. The leather smells great. The length and holes are the same as original strap. This is for Rolleiflex F, E, and T model cameras. (FIRST IMAGE) SOLD

And I have a less expensive version with a silver-colored buckle, and silver rivets, and nice brown leather for $75 shipped. (LAST 3 IMAGES).

These are what I use to carry my Rolleiflex cameras. I make very very little on these straps - just doing it to salvage old straps - the clips are in great condition - I clean and lubricate each one and check functionality.

The problem with the original Rollei strap is that it's not very comfortable. What I'd like to see is a strap with the alligator clip on one end, and a quick release on the other so it could be used with straps I already have, like a medium UPstrap or an OP/TECH.

Comfort is a matter of opinion - I find my Rollei straps very comfortable - even when carried for a long time. You can add a pad if you like. If I know I'm not going to shoot for a while, then I put the camera in my camera bag - which holds my iPhone, film, and other stuff.
