Many lenses can give you pictures like these - I don't see exactly what you think is special about them. The light, film, exposure and color correction have much more impact than the lens. But the older coatings should give less saturated colors, so maybe you'll want to avoid the super multi coating.
I like the super Takumar 50 f/1.4 a lot. Certainly not sharpness at any cost, but no slouch in that department. The 55 f/1.8 is supposed to be sharper.
The Takumar wides are supposed to be great too, but have a bit much distortion for my taste.
 
I don't see anything in particular in those shots. As for M42 lenses, I've not used that many but my Takumar 55/2 is a great little lens, bit hazy/glow wide open, sharp with a bit glowy diffusion at f/2.5 and plenty sharp from f/2.8. Really nice bokeh too. Works very well with BW film.
 
Try the 8-element version of the m42 Pentax Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4 lenses.
